Well, I checked 3 sources and they all listed Sienkiewicz.

The faces on Black Panther and Klaw look like Bill drew em.

Well, I checked 3 sources and they all listed Sienkiewicz. No doubt... Since he did the pencils, I think it should still qualify, even if Rubinstein seems to have been quite heavy-handed on the ink job in this case.

The faces on Black Panther and Klaw look like Bill drew em. Agreed. The Black Panther and Klaw faces are definitely Bill's style... Compare them to the faces in first Moon Knight series issue #1.

GCD originally credited the cover to Jerry Bingham, but changed the credits after research turned up something in the fanzine The Comic Reader that attributed the cover to Sienkewicz. Looking a the time frame, it is one of the very early credits for Bill and I am sure Rubinstein was asked to smooth over the rough edges of a young artist, hence his more heavy handed inking in parts. -M

Great picks on Moon Knight #23 and also that Lone Wolf and Cub cover. The latter is on one of the digest versions, too. Well, the best ones are already taken, but here's a really good one in its own right, Savage Sword of Conan #102.

tartanphantom. Outside of Doug Wildey's original work on Jonny Quest, nothing else comes close to capturing that Cold War / sci-adventure feel of his creation like the stunning cover tartanphanton posted.
Honorable mention: Hoosier X and James.
