MDGMy reason? The book is obviously a 70's romance title-- aimed market-wise at teen and pre-teen girls. But the more you look at the cover, it seems that the dude in the background is dressed like he just came from a weekend jaunt on Fire Island, and is obviously jealous of the girl, not the guy. Not that there's anything wrong with that by today's standards, but this was published in the mid-70's.
I say it's foreshadowing well ahead of its time.

batsywatsy: Tom Sutton really bringing his Warren style/energy to that jaw-dropper of a cover.
Honorable mention: Crimebuster (More Sutton gems sort of going in the direction of fine line work like Joe Certa on Gold Key's Dark Shadows) and foxley.

I was going to post it, because it's such a classic, but he beat me to it. So I'll vote for it:

mrp
House of Yang brings back memories. I never bought it because I saw it so seldom on newsstands that I knew I would never be able to get more than a handful of issues. But I vaguely remember flipping through it a few times. I have no clear memories of anything, characters, stories, plot, art quality, nothing.

Congratulations, Crimebuster. And - despite the appearance of only one E-man cover - a big hat tip to everyone else. Love 'em all.
