I keep paging back up just to look again at the apocalyptic destruction in the page electricmaestro shared above. Stunning! Yeah, probably another rarely mentioned aspect of Wolverton’s work is how he draws buildings and other objects getting destroyed, as opposed to simply drawing a small panel of a building breaking in half. He definitely manages to the emphasize the energy behind the CRASH!

Basil wasn't real creative with the sound effects there... not often "Crash!" is used as an actual sound. He had to leave something for Don Martin to perfect I guess.
