I've pretty much enjoyed anything that Vince Clark has done, musically, from early Depeche Mode, to Yazoo, to Erasure; but, I think this is my new favorite... They probably did ABBA better, musically; but, I think Guy Pierce and Hugo Weaving pulled it off better, visually. Some more ABBA, Erasure style.... If I was going to pick something to challenge these for awesomeness, it would be Jimmy Somerville and the Reverend Richard Coles, as the Communards, complete with the future clergyman's dancing.... Now, how many vicars can make the claim that they danced in a music video for their pop band's hit song? Here's the vicar's reaction, some years later... There had been a running gag about how Ian Hislop resembled Jimmy Somerville.

How to describe "Possibly In Michigan"? It's a weird, avant-garde art piece/musical made in the 80's that feels totally at home on Youtube

A british bloke's fond recollections of electronic whiz-bang boxes
I rewatch these fairly often because they're just that good (and being fond of the Genesis/Mega-Drive doesn't hurt either)

Andy & Vince had been doing drag in the Erasure videos from the very beginning
you do know they have a whole album too (Abba-Esque)
tho their cover of "Gimme Gimme Gimme" (which is NOT on that album) is my favorite:

A documentary that I've watched and re-watched so many times that it's not even funny. It chronicles the music and partial history of Belgium leading up to the formation of the house style known as "new-beat"
