I've mentioned this before, but I was turned on to Doug Moench's pre-crisis Batman because of the "Batman From 1979 through whatever" thread. It's become one of my favorite Batman runs, and I just have two issues left to collect. The "Star Wars At Marvel" thread got me to pick up some Walt Simonson and David Michelinie issues. There's still some books I'm on the lookout for because of the "The Other Guys" thread. The one I'm most interested in getting my hands on is Hotspur. There's a good chance this thread itself is going to cause my list to grow by at least one comic. Case in point: I'm about to google "Grey Morrow Madhouse" I think Dover Publications published a reprint volume of Hotspur, when Drew Ford was still editing there.

Joe Lansdale's Mojo Press did a b&w collection of Confederate Gold Saga, which is an early one. Marvel's Epic line of Moebius Albums had about 5 Blueberry, plus 3 Lt Blueberry, and Marshal Blueberry, plus one volume of the Moebius overview line (volume 8) was Moebius western, if not a Blueberry story. Catalan had 3 volumes of Young Blueberry. Might be something more recent. The movie, with Vincent Cassell was released on dvd; but, I don't much recommend it, unless you like Alejandro Jodorowsky's Topo, as it apes his weird style.

There's probably a lot more, but two or three come to mind off the top of my head:
Blueberry - I think RR posted a few reviews in the European comics thread that convinced me to give it a try, in spite of my general lack of enthusiasm for the Western genre. Le Bras d'Orion - RR's own ongoing must-read SF epic. Night World - I believe this was recommended by member who is no longer with the board, I<ll have to look up the thread to get her name right.
And a ton of stuff I've read because of the old CBR boards - basically anything from Marvel or DC from the last 20 years or so. All the Vertigo stuff, for example, I never even heard of until joining CBR in the early 2000s.

I thought Night World was great fun and anything else I saw by that team would probably be an automatic buy for me.

Couple more that I was reminded of...
Semper Fi, Marvel's series featuring tales of the Marine Corps with a lot of John Severin covers
Amazing High Adventure a great anthology from the Epic imprint featuring adventure tales set in various eras.
Both of these, and some of the others from my first list including Guns of the Dragon, were all discovered in the Twelve Days of Christmas event the year the topic was favorite Short Series, but the Twelve Days contests, in particular, each year always seem to bring some unknown gems to my attention.

Life with Archie was my favorite Archie title in the 60s, and though I haven't found any reasonable, I have been looking since reading about it here. Also pulled a collection from Hoopla where I was happy to see this: ... which I have as:

Yeah, depending upon an individual's choice as what is reasonable pricing you won't be finding life With Archie in affordable price ranges til late 1965 onward. That dang Shax purchases had me interested in the thought of picking some up too but that is on hold at the moment. I do already a few issues of Life, Betty and Veronica along with Jugheads.
Most of my Archie collection is in the last 5-6 years with the Giant 500 and 1000 page editions they do each year (can order from Archie directly or Amazon) along with 4 CD Rom collections of the complete 1970s books scanned including 2 Archie series, Jughead and Betty and Veronica.
