If we're talking Unbeatable, I have to second Squirrel Girl. It's in her name!
For powerful, I've always liked the Destroyer. Especially if someone like Loki was controlling him.
And the Hulk just kept getting stronger the madder he got. Don't remember any Hulk/Juggernaut fights offhand, though it seems a natural. But my money's on the green guy.

I don't think I've read a story where he fought the real thing, but he hallucinated Juggernaut in IH #314 so it must have happened at some point.

I know Mangog was beaten in Thor Vol. 3 #25... so I guess I'm a vote for The Destroyer. I really don't know enough about Doomsday though.

To paraphrase Kurt Busiek every time he is asked a "who would win" question-Whomever the writer wants to win. Writers rig the fights to the outcome they want for the sake of story.

I voted “Other”. Why? One name: Juggernaut. Juggernaut would beat any of those characters. No doubt! Except perhaps, Gladiator of the Imperial Guard.

I reckon if you were to transplant the brain of Doctor Doom into Gray Gargoyle, then Gray Gargoyle would be unbeatable.

Judge Death is pretty imposing. Those original Bolland Dredd stories with the character are among the best in that series. Usually they don't defeat these type characters as much as trick them into making a mistake, that seems to be similar notion used in these type comics.

I can tell what I think were the best stories that were based on the idea of an unbeatable adversary: the original Mangog saga in Thor #154-157 and the Celestials in the original Eternals series. Kirby did it better than anyone else because he understood that the idea of an unbeatable entity is something to be used in the service of the story and its underlying themes, NOT in the service of readers' power fantasies.

I don't know what the general opinion is about the Death of Superman story but, That story was epic and every time I read it, it gets a little better. Doomsday was a hurricane. You don't negotiate with a hurricane.
