Something is the same thing, but in one place it's called something different! Examples: U.S. Family Feud. U.K. it's called Family Fortunes. U.K. sitcom The Good Life. In the U.S. they called it Good Neighbors (without a 'u' even). U.S. Frosted Flakes. U.K. they are Frosties. Got any others?

In the UK, it's Cluedo, in the US, Clue In the UK, it's Meccano; in the US, it was an Erector Set.....it's now Meccano in the US. 'Til Death Us Do Part was the UK sitcom that inspired All in the Family. Man About the House Inspired Three's Company In the UK, It's Strictly Come Dancing...in the US, It's Dancing with the Stars In the UK, it's Pop Idol, in the US, it's American Idol....in both places, it's bland manufactured and marketed noise In the UK, it was Life on Mars; in the US it was mediocre drivel with a bad ending. In the US, it's Donald Trump; in the UK, it's Boris Johnson.....everywhere else, the clowns are usually found in the circus. In the US, it was Hulk Hogan, in the UK, it was Big Daddy. Except for those of us who would rather watch Marc Rocco, Fit Finlay or Johnny Saint. (or, by similar tokens, Ricky Steamboat, Randy Savage or Ric Flair)

The UK has lorries, the US has trucks (although it’s not uncommon to see “trucks” used here).
