I'm guessing that I'm not going to get any more books in today. Big month for me. 217 books. I'm sure that's the most I've read...in absolute eons. Full re-reads of Scalped, 100 Bullets and From Hell.

Finished my Tomb of Dracula essential this month.... I'm glad I got it, nice art, decent (if repetitive) story, but probably didn't like it enough to seek of the other volume. Read a few of my old $1 bin purchases too, just in time to make room for more . One of these days I may have to fill in the holes and read Valiant in a logical way.

I only read 26 comics this month , maybe my all time low. I just didn't have the desire and spent a lot of my month listening to podcasts about comics. I did read some silver age Thors ( 113-116, 126) which are always great.

Slow month for me, spending time in the hospital didn't help but I don't think I read much of anything at all in the second half of the month. Managed 44 comics. Most of the first part of the month was spent read Aaron's Thor: God of Thunder. The rest was a mish mash of stuff.

Had my best month in almost a year (53 issues read, six reviewed), largely due to my becoming obsessed with Immortal Hulk, which I gobbled up in large chunks. The series is beginning to wane for me (I'm up to #26), but it sure kept me captivated for a while, there. No matter how much I generally prefer the classic stuff, it requires more concentration on my part. I rarely read five in a row and lose track of time.

I think we all hit that brick wall every now and then, where reading comics begins to feel like something you do just because it's something you've always done. Nothing wrong with taking a prolonged break and waiting to hear the call once again.

Very slow month but I started a new job and the training has been pretty intensive and when I did have reading time, I spent it with prose.
What I did read was mostly DC's Digital First issues which are nice quick read and don't contain a ton of continuity.

Did 72 comics for April which is just above usual. Weekend doing nada from my 1st COVID vaccination put me over the top. Doubt May will be be as high with several work heavy days ahead as State staff have yearly mandatory classes to attend. When I do up more computer time I tend to back off with reading during the week at night as the eyes are old and tired now compared to my youth.

May was a productive reading month, with the equivalent of 158 issues read.
Best of the month:
Friend of the Devil by Brubaker/Phillips Usagi Yojimbo by Stan Sakai (Fantagraphics Vol. 4-7, Saga Vol. 1-2) Sweet Tooth by Jeff Lemire and friends (Vol. 1-6)

I continue to struggle to find time to read these days, but May was good for me, even if my numbers were way low. Major highlights included finishing the Corto Maltese saga and completing my reviews of Superman's 42-part "1991" crossover. Next month, I hope to get back to resurrecting The Cerebus Reading Society, as well as launching a BIG new review thread that Hoosier X and I have been planning.

Another low total of reading with only 21 comics. I'm setting a goal of 60 comics , which averages out to 2 per day. I plan to start the JL Detroit run which begins in JL annual # 2.

Lots of reading for me this month... as I read a good chunk of Promised Neverland (inspired by my daughter and the 2nd season of the anime coming out) along with the regular stuff. Pretty good so far... getting a bit repetitive, but only 7 more volumes, so I think they'll starting the ending soon, so should be pretty good.

Another big month with 206 1/2 issues. Full reads/re-read of Baltimore, Ennis' run on Hellblazer and most of Y: The Last Man.
I suspect things are going to start slowing down though.
