Most everyone in this forum knows I am not shy about my liking of all things cheesecake. But I don't at all feel guilty and really don't think anyone should be to a point. You should see my living room--I've been collecting pinup barware and ashtrays for a while (though, like with all collectibles, prices have gotten ridiculous). Bettie Page is all over the walls of my house. But i have many others as well. Not the thing my conservative religious parents like to see when they visit though. :-)

(...) we called it "Straightening up the house" Ha! If I had not swallowed my sip of tea just before reading that, I would have been wiping it off of my screen now...

Pretty much Avengers 301-400 I’m changing my opinion of the Avengers issues after 300. I am reading The 340’s - 350’s and they are better than I remember then being. The art team of Epting and Palmer is nice.

Most of those issues, if I'm not mistaken, were written by Bob Harras and that never worked for me

375 is really the place to stop if you're going to go that far. The Gatherers storyline starts in #343 and runs through #375 so stopping in the middle seems odd. But also, the Gatherers stuff is the best arc from 301-402 as well.
376-up is the worst Avengers period ever, at least until Bendis. I think someone would have to pay me to reread 376-402. Some truly terrible comics in there.

I don't have a collection of MAD Magazine, but whenever I come across one, I love to rifle through it.

Fred Hembeck is a happy pleasure for me. Part historian, part comedian and pure fun on the printed page. I have his collected volumes handy on the bookshelf for quick reads anytime. I can open to any page and find myself chuckling and learning all at the same time. Long live the squiggly jointed and bearded Hembeck!

Getting close to being a certified "classic comic" being from 2011, so I'll add my favorite DC comic of all time; Red Hood & The Outlaws. It just really feels like the 90's incarnate

"Guilty pleasure", huh? Well, here's a series that actually has better writing than most "regular" comics... despite being as X-rated as possible. The various " COLEY COCHRAN" stories from John Blackburn.

Here's one I forgot about: Mark Millar's Robo-Hunter Was so universally hated that 2000AD have never reprinted it. I've never been big into the series, but I found Millar's take just dumb fun, the artwork by Jose Casanovas is pretty good too. I really want to have Millar sign my American reprints just to see what his reaction would be
