The Honest Trailer is up....
"Just like Spider-Man, he's a 'parker' with a secret identity..."

Watched this tonight... petty fun movie overall, but I was a little disappointed it didn't further the MCU along at all, sure, they teased a big bad guy coming, but that's just setting up the sequel.. we have a hold world having had this crazy event and the only bits we get are a quick mention of hte snap, and a restaurant in San Francisco being casual about Wong's teleporting.
Wong was awesome, btw.
I also think it's a bad sign when all the supporting characters are more interesting and engaging then the guy who's name is on the movie.

I thought this film was so-so. I loved the bus fight, and the fight on the skyscraper scaffolding, and some of the humor was good. Overall, though, I found the plot mediocre and uninspired, some of the characters disappointing, and the big fighting at the end didn't really interest me a whole lot.

This movie was a "hit", but I think they got lucky with little or no competition... Shang-Chi was the movie I was most interested to see, until I saw the first trailer, and I was so underwhelmed, I really didn't care if it even came out.
The story was OK... the action was OK... Didn't care for the whole "ten rings" gimmick, and was disappointed Shang-Chi now has them. The whole thing kind of reminded me of the feeling of watching the Inhumans TV pilot. Like it didin't matter, in the world of the MCU, and didn't matter to me. I guess here comes a sequel.
I did like the chemistry between Shang and his girlfriend.
