I only get a blank screen with a couple of table headings and a link that says 'parent directory' that leads me back to the usagiyojimbo.com front page.
For a year or more I either get that, or a redirect to a 'sorry, that page doesn't exist!' message, whenever I follow any link or search result for the UY dojo.
I don't have a clue what is happening, and it's fairly frustrating. It's been a while since September: has the dojo gone off again? Is this section of the classic comics forum all there is? (Please don't say facebook)

There was a forum software update that broke things again and the volunteer that fixed it last time hasn't had a chance to get in there and see what went wrong this time, though he said he'll look into it when he can.

I have not heard anything about it either. It is a friend of Maka's that is supposed to be working on it. for free, in his spare time. That is all I know.

I wish I could say I've heard something new, but I haven't. Last I heard, the person who is going to fix it has a lot of other priorities on their plate right now. I'm sorry the news isn't better.
If there is anything more I can do to make the Dojo Annex a reasonable substitute, please let me know. We all want the Dojo back online, but until it is, this place is what we have to work with.

Best wishes to all. go Here is the response I received, go: "there was a problem with the upgrade PHP software that was causing the old data base of all the content not to load. Lawrence has tried several times to upload them in different chunks and it just isn't working. He was going to contact one of the PHP developers but the are also in the Ukraine, if I remember correctly, so they may have larger more important issues to tend to right now. Sorry I don't have any other updates for now"So, for the time being, it looks like this isn't an issue that is going to be remedied. As always, if there is anything I can do to make this Annex more of a home in the meanwhile, please let me know. |
