Roseanne had a bunch of DC stuff in later seasons, as Darlene and David work on their comic. Bunch of Sandman stuff, a Golden Age promo poster and some Starman stuff. I remember Darlene having a Death (Sandman) poster on her wall.

The kid in the 80s sitcom Kate & Allie was often shown t be a fan of Marvel Comics, with comics appearing a few times, and the kid wearing a Spider-Man costume in a Halloween episode... I can't find a still of the actual comics in the show, but I recall it happened a few times. -M

Never have seen it, but I had heard about Flash comics and "Catch Me If You Can." No idea why they are important to it. Found a couple of shots of them, though...

Always wondered why they picked Thor of all characters to make her a fan of.

In the original script, she was obsessed with He-Man and She-Ra, but apparently the director didn't know who they were. He was a huge Marvel fanatic, so he changed it to Thor.

Adventures in Babysitting, a home video shop classic from 1987. Don't forget a young Vincent d'onafrio as the object of the little girls affection

I had to look it up to make sure my memory wasn'y playing me false, but Silver Surfer comics and imagery play a part in the early-80s American remake of Breathless, with Richard Gere. Wasn't a bad movie, if I remember, though obviously not the iconic work that is the original Godard film with Belmondo.

Adventures in Babysitting, a home video shop classic from 1987. Totally excellent 80s film; saw it in the theater, a couple of times. It was kind of marketed as a female Ferris Bueller, with the close calls with the parents, though the plots are rather different. Same Chicago setting (and the rich 'burbs). It was hard to believe it was the same Vincent D'Onofrio that was in Full Metal Jacket.
