I've watched the first episode of Wilfred twice...and have been unable to get up enough enthusiasm to watch another.

2 days until Doctor Who!! Sure, rub it in. We don't move into the new place until next week, and the folks we're staying with don't have TV.

I tried watching Doctor Who 25 years ago... when PBS was showing reruns with the boring parts cut out... it was still super-boring. I could never be bothered to try watching it again. I think this sums up my feelings towards it:

I was up early Saturday and caught most of the final episode of Justice League Unlimited in HD widescreen on The CW. JLU looks nowhere to be seen next week, but I notice they're starting an hour block of the more recent and shorter-lived Spectacular Spider-Man series next week with the last and first episodes.
I intentionally finally watched the final episode of Warren Ellis' Marvel Anime: Wolverine. It was okay I guess. It tried to synthesize some Miller/Claremont Japan Mariko stuff and some Madripoor and other stuff into 13 episodes with Japanese stylisms. All four Marvel animes are on CRACKLE.com , including Iron Man, X-Men and some other one.
Adventures of Superman starts on MeTV next week, preceding Batman (and Wonder Woman), creating a three-hour DC superhero block.

I also read a Doctor Who comic a couple years ago with three short stories by Grant Morrison. I remain yet unmoved.

Anyone else watching Outlander on Starz? It's an excellent period piece, the premise is interesting and Caitriona Balfe is surprisingly good. Apparently it's already been renewed for a second season.

No Starz here.
I can confirm that True Blood has finally, mercifully ended.
The Strain has improved some over the first few episodes.
NBC skipped airing episode eight of Welcome to Sweden, but it's available on hulu.

I never got past the second or third season of True Blood, but it was way more enjoyable than I expected. It was also a huge disappointment.
Sons of Anarchy's final season begins next week. I haven't watched since they got back from Ireland, but those first seasons were really entertaining.

The season six premiere of The League on FXX was hilarious.

How did they convince Andre to dance at the funeral?
I like the show, but feel like the Andre character is being mishandled.

Not that the show is some great character study or anything.

I enjoyed The League premiere too. A solid B episode as far as that show goes. And they convinced Andre there would be a flashmob dancing with him... the kind of crap they always do to him. The twist this time was he brushed it off and saved that rabbi's life.
Supposedly there's an "origin episode' for Rafi and Dirty Randy this year.
Welcome to Sweden has concluded its premiere season. This is a funny show. I liked it more than the last season of Parks and Recreation, which I never got around to finishing. Illeana Douglas and Patrick Duffy were pretty hilarious when they showed up as Bruce's parents. It will be back next year.
The season finale for Falling Skies wasn't too bad comparatively speaking, but overall this season was just another mess of mediocrity. Supposedly has one more final season next year.
I had fun with season 1 of The Almighty Johnsons on Syfy, even with the muted swearing and blurred nudity. I haven't seen anything about when or if season 2 will be on US television.
