Yeah, I like the idea of "bulletproof" Andre, even if he's never really been bothered much before. The more Rafi the better.

How did they convince Andre to dance at the funeral? They told him that Ted wanted a Flash Mob at his funeral and that they were all going to participate. Supposedly there's an "origin episode' for Rafi and Dirty Randy this year. Really looking forward to that. Yeah, I like the idea of "bulletproof" Andre, even if he's never really been bothered much before. Yeah I'm diggin' the idea of "Tefl-Andre". The guy needs a few wins.

The final season of Boardwalk Empire is off to a very good start.
The season finale of The Leftovers was intense and arguably the best thing HBO has done since True Detectives.

The season six premiere of The League on FXX was hilarious. Yes, last season was alright, with the exception of the Rafi episode, the premiere was hilarious. I was busting up when Taco took Chad Ochocinco from the Toronto Aoullettes...brilliant.
Yeah, I like the idea of "bulletproof" Andre, even if he's never really been bothered much before. The more Rafi the better. Telfondre! And "You're the New Andre".....

The final season of Haven premiered tonight. Interesting watching Emily Rose play the villain. The preview for the rest of the season looks good.

I gave Gotham an episode, it was good enough to watch it again next week.

The season 2 premieres of both The Blacklist and Sleepy Hollow are off to good starts and the Gotham series premiere on FOX was surprisingly not terrible.

Checked out the first few episodes of Utopia, the latest reality gimmick where 15 people have to try and live off the land for a year. They've got a pastor, an ex-convict, a polygamous stripper, an attorney, a hillbilly, a pregnant woman, ex-military guy, a contractor, an atheist, etc.
I was intrigued by the lineup and so far haven't been let down. It's a shipwreck, to say the least. They only got $5000 for the whole year and blew $4000 on food and useless items the first two weeks, when they should have been hunting and fishing, etc. They are making money by having events at the ranch but who knows how long that will last.
Best moment: The ex-convict, who initially has only blasphemous comments towards Christianity...gets baptized. The atheist breaks down crying when the pastor has to leave after an injury, saying how it was good to have him around and how he was touched. In this environment it was very interesting to see how powerful the word of God is.

I was surprised to see Sleepy Hallow back for another season. I thought it had been cancelled.

I didn't get to watch the season premiere of Sleepy Hollow last night because my wife insisted on watching the first of the two Big Bang Theory episodes that aired instead. She loves that show, and while I find it amusing at times (particularly when they don't play up the extreme nerd caricatures of the male characters and let them act like actual human beings), I really wanted to see what was happening in upstate New York.
Might be able to get it in tonight before Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but I'm not feeling terribly confident about that. Probably will have to wait until Thursday, when I have nothing recording for the first night this week.

I thought Gotham started in October, but luckiky they're replaying it Friday so I've set it to record. I'm also recording Sleepy Hollow and Shield in case I decide to watch the first seasons and enjoy them.

I thought GOTHAM was done in a very professional manner, but I'm still pretty hazy about how the producers can do a "Batman mythos" show without Batman. I guess the ordinary cops like Gordon and Bullock are going to be taking down the bad guys at a time when they haven't yet developed their personas, though said cops didn't do too well against ordinary crooks in the opener.
By contrast, after watching the first ep of ARROW, I had a pretty good idea what issues were at stake. Here, it's like-- OK, Gotham's bad, it really needs a champion, but it has to wait over ten years.

Look at how many seasons the same guy has been evading capture in The Following. Multiply that by however many bad guys they feature in Gotham.
