I hardly watch tv but caught the Gotham rerun and liked it. The only part I really didn't like was Gordon putting his badge on the table at Wayne mansion. That was OTT for me, otherwise I'm hopeful.
I liked that you can see where all the villains are at that time in their lives, just like Bruce. They're all coming off age. Certainly not the glacial pace of some other shows.
Agreed, the alley should've been darker and moodier.

I honestly enjoyed that cross-over a fair bit. Probably more than the Simpson's season premiere.

Anyone watch Falling Skies? I finished the 1st season last night (Amazon Prime lost the rights to BSG, sadly). Seems like a decent alien invasion show so far... a bit melodramatic, but pretty fun to watch so far.

Finally got to see the Agents of SHIELD seasoon premiere on DVR yesterday. Quite liked it.
My wife also watches Bones and I got part of the episode, which left me wondering if George RR Martin is a consultant on that show because every time I see an episode someone in the regular supporting cast is getting killed....

I honestly enjoyed that cross-over a fair bit. Probably more than the Simpson's season premiere. The cross-over had some very funny segments in it. I laughed out loud when Marge was all over Lois over not wearing a bra.

Halfway in to the final season Boardwalk Empire and it's pretty good so far... I kind of wish they spent these episodes covering all of 1924-31 instead of just jumping ahead to 1931, though. And I'm not too enamored off all the time spent flashing back to the 1880s, either.
I have a similar wish for Gotham. I liked the premiere, it looked great, and the performaces of Gordon & Bulloch were execellent. Even li'l Bruce was pretty good. But I really don't want this to unfold in real time. I'd like to see an 18-year-old Bruce Wayne in season two training abroad with Ra's al-Guhl. The showrunner Bruno Heller created HBO/BBC's Rome and that show covered five years in season one...
Also, I think they were just messing with you with that little girl "Ivy Pepper." I bet when the real Poison Ivy finally shows up it will be a different character, like maybe Pamela Isley. I don't think any of the other characters' names have been changed, have they?

The Simpsons/ Family Guy crossover was good. I really liked the "ripoff trial" and they had the best choice for the judge. The Simpsons episode itself was satisfactory and I laughed at the "binge watching."

I went from having nothing to watch on TV to being completely slammed with shows overnight. No way can I keep up with all of them. But that's what Netflix and Hulu are for.

You know one thing that's great about Gotham?
Somebody figured out a way to use Selina Kyle without making her a hooker.
Good job, Gotham writing team!

My big fear is that either Ra's al Ghul or pre-Deathstroke Slade will turn out to be involved in killing the Waynes when everybody knows it was Joe Chill and Lew Moxon!

The season 7 premiere of Castle was pretty good. It doesn't really answer any of the questions from the season 6 finale cliffhanger. However it sets up a pretty interesting mystery.

Sleepy Hollow has been good clean, insane fun in season 2 so far, but I'm troubled by the absence of Gen. Washington. So far it seems like Ben Franklin is taking his role as supporting Founding Father. I hope we don't have wait for TURN season 2 to see Washington on TV again.
BOOM! is doing a 4-issue Sleepy Hollow comic book and they recently released some short prequel stories online for free.
