I’m really liking Catwoman: Lonely City a lot. I just finished it myself...and honestly it's probably the best bat-book I've read in YEARS. I love the characterization of not only Selina, but Croc, Nygma and Poison Ivy really shined as well. I don't think I've had this much fun since Brubaker's Catwoman book.

Nightwing #87. Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo. This issue is one continuous image - if you put every page next to each other, you'll have one poster sized image. Billionaire Dick Grayson has hired killers trying to kill him. Politicians and others want him stopped after he tries to help the city with his new found wealth. However they go too far when they steal his dog, Haley. Him and Barbara rescue Haley. Interesting art experiment which actually succeeds in portraying motion very well. I also like the concept that Dick is the target not Nightwing. Taylor continues what is destined to be one the best Nightwing stories ever. I liked the art gimmick, it was very cool... If I had anyplace to put it, I'd totally buy an extra copy and take it apart. There was some cool background stuff, too... the Mystery Machine was on one page.... Frylock on another.. then theres the G Simone sign that I suspect was some sort of in joke (I'm definitely not a Bear the G Simone show). there's other stuff too, I do think it seems a bit filler-y, with not alot of substance, especially with that stupid Batgirls preview in it AGAIN.

King Conan #1
I got the Stan Sakai variant cover, which was worth the price even if the book was terrible. I wouldn't say TERRIBLE, but it does read like internet fan fiction, like 'wouldn't it be neat if xxx happened?', no matter it makes no logical sense.
I did like the art, though.. the full page panels of the past were really great... worth the price of admission, even if the story is pretty medicore.

Moon Knight #8 was really good, as majestic said. Much more grounded MK story than the Warren Ellis run, and I like that they’re using an underutilized villain (Zodiac) in this. Hawkeye: Kate Bishop #2 is fun. You have to learn to live with the “quirks” used when writing her (constant inner monologue, the text conversations with America and Cassie, etc), but it definitely has its own style and stands out; I now hear everything she says in Hailee Steinfeld’s voice. I thought I’d pick this up just so my daughters could read it, but I’m finding myself enjoying it as well. LOVING Moon Knight... I feel like this book should be on it's own, not in the Marvel Universe. But then, Tigra being around is fun, too so maybe not. I hope they keep going with this of Khonsu as an active God... how great would a Marvel universe where all the Gods did so be? Now there's an event that could really be something if built up probably over a few years. Kate Bishop is decent, but quite honestly, they did better on her character in the show that they do here... she feels more vapid and less competent in this comic. Maybe it's the writing quirks, or maybe not, hard to say.
