I didn't realize we were talking about the classic Who's Who volumes. Wouldn't this be better suited to the Classic Comics discussion section? Good point! I just moved the thread to the Classic Comics board.  |

I can think of two possible reasons why the art was rejected:
1. Raven's face might have been too close to where the logo and index were going to be.
2. It emphasizes Raven and that other character whereas the final approved cover doesn't really have any character taking the spotlight at the expense of the others.

I would have rejected the Colon cover because Reverse-Flash is flying.

I still think it was rejected because of the Red Tornado gaffe mentioned in my previous post.
