Didn't even know the franchise was active after the last movie. Hopefully this is something decent. BTW, maybe it's not a coincidence that a new Predator comic series just released, and later this year the original 90's collection omnibus is getting printed via Marvel.

That ... actually looks like it might be good. Otherwise, after the first - excellent - movie with Arnold, I've never been even remotely interested in any of the follow-ups (I remember stumbling onto Predators once while channel surfing and bailed after about 20 minutes).

While not as fun as the first I actually thought Predator 2 was pretty decent and Predators with Adrian Brody and Laurence Fishburne was a solid popcorn flick. |

While not as fun as the first I actually thought Predator 2 was pretty decent and Predators with Adrian Brody and Laurence Fishburne was a solid popcorn flick. Predator 2 was the Danny Glover one, right? Yeah, I thought it was pretty good at the time, don't remember much about it now, though. Haven't seen Predators but I like Fishburne so I'll keep an eye out for that one. I saw a bit of the preview for Prey, not enough to know what to think so far. The language seemed a bit modernised, culturally, for a period piece, but probably too small a sample to really judge. I wonder how much Comanche input they had into the script. I assume it was written in English and then translated for the Comanche version? |

I just finished this and it was surprisingly good, like I'm stunned that this didn't get a theatrical release. I think what I liked the best was that the white hunters were French and all their dialogue was too so they were just as alien to the natives as the Predator. That probably wouldn't come across to a French speaking viewer like Roquefort Raider but it definitely seemed to be an intentional choice by the film makers. |

I very much enjoyed the movie Prey. I'd reccommend just watching that and the first, original one. All the others in-between are fodder or time-wasters

And while just below Predator 2, Predators was also a solid action flick; the boobytraps that both the Predators and the human soldiers set up for eachother were interesting and both Brody and Fishburn gave solid performances. |

I couldn't get past the first half hour, it was just boring. It was the same with AVP2, there just wasn't much to keep my attention. AVP wasn't terrible however, it was a decent popcorn muncher but no where near as tense or interesting as the others. |
