If admin/mods want to verify price I can forward them a link once contacted... I am neither, but I'd like to verify those are ten years old... They aren't...nor do I religiously stick to the 10 year old tag if it's a good deal...

Lucked into a new ebay listing for Usagi Yojimbo vol. 2 #16 for a reasonable price - $3.78 plus shipping. I managed to lower the per book cost because the same dealer also had a copy of the elusive (for no apparent reason) Archie #615, which has been mightily vexing me. Total cost for the pair shipped was $10.21, which I was happy to pay. This completes my Mirage run of Usagi Yojimbo, just leaving me with the Dark Horse series to work on. It also gives me Archie #598-up.
So I'm pleased. Only other copy of #16 on ebay has an asking price of $31. There's also one other copy in a mixed lot for $23 shipped.

Stopped by a shop today and it was Quarterpalooza, i.e. got all these books for a quarter each, most in kind of rough shape, but decent readers...
Daredevil (Bendis/Brubaker):68, 69, 79, 80, 82, 83 Hawkman (Johns): 1, 2, 9, 10, 12, 14-16 Unity 2000 1, 2 Space Ghost (Joe Kelly): 3 Grendel Black White & Red 1-4 Nextwave 1 (Director's Cut)-3 Tales of the Unexpected #6 (Mandrake Spectre) Planetary/Authority: Ruling the World Vigilante 42 Dr. Fate (DeMatteis): 1 Dragonlance (DC) #1 Green Arrow (Grell): 1, 2 Sgt. Rock 411, 416 (Kubert covers)
from there dollar boxes also snagged Shadow Year One (Matt Wagner) 4-6 Shadow 25 (last ish of the ongoing) and the Francavilla cover to Shadow 16
when I got home, the Annihilation Vol. 3 hardcover I had requested as part of a trade paperback swap site I am part of had arrived in the mail, so I now have a bigger to read pile....

Unity 2000, one of my favorite unfinished stories. Hard to find ! You know the entire Jim Shooter script is available online, right? The site that hosts it is currently offline for upgrades, but the link is: www.valiantfan.com/valiant/joe/u2kinfo.asp

I went to the Phoenix Comic Con this past weekend, and came away with 122 books. I won't list them all, but here are some highlights and a summary: Avengers #169 - completes my Avengers run! Not quite as nice a copy as I would have liked, but good enough, the best I saw there, and only a buck. Action Comics #521 - completes Action #500 to #904. Lots of $0.50 and $1.00 books, especially Adventure Comics, Legends of the Dark Knight, Shadow of the Bat, DC Comics Presents, and Marvel Two-In-One. And of course the good stuff, including silver: and gold:

OMG! The Brave and the Bold #78! Batman, Wonder Woman, Batgirl and Copperhead! One of the highlights of the late Silver Age!
And look at all those jungle girl comics! When you got Rulah, who needs Sheena? (But don't skimp on the Tiger Girl next time.)

Nice Haunt of Fear find! Were the EC comics a good price? I can't say it was a great deal on the Haunt of Fear - near guide, but it is in pretty nice condition. At least the later issues like this one are much less expensive than the early issues in the series.
