I finally got the last issue of Birds of Prey I was missing. I've been looking to get this book for a few years now but it's always been more expensive than I've been willing to pay. Everytime I go to comic shows I keep an eye out for this book but it's always priced well over $100. Not going to pay that much. I lucked out and found a great looking copy for well under $100. Now I can finally read it when I reread at least Dixon's run of the title in the coming months.

I ordered a few more comics. I'm still working on the holes in my Detective Comics #301 to #420 collection, so I ordered #406: And I got five issues of The Legion of Super-Heroes from the early 1980s, #277 to #281: I decided to try something new, and found a few consecutive issues of 1990s The Doom Patrol: And I got this. Just about the only new comics I bought between 2004 and 2011 was a JLA Detroit storyline in JLA Classified. I bought parts 2 through 4, but I never got the first part. Until now:

I hope you enjoy those LOSH issues, Hoosier X. One of my favorite runs. It's just a few issues before I started buying LSH at #285. I've got a decent number of the issues from about #250 to #270. And I made extra sure I got the Steve Ditko issue!

This makes it 248-502 for my Thor collection Nice work! It'd always satisfying to mark something off the checklist, especially if you've been working toward the goal for a while.

Thanks , Cap. I overpaid a little for the recent Thor books but I had a little extra Christmas money so I settled some accounts. Now I have to fill in from 126-247.

Thanks , Cap. I overpaid a little for the recent Thor books but I had a little extra Christmas money so I settle some accounts. Now I have to fill in from 126-247. Good luck. I have #195 and up in floppies, as well as a handful of others before that, but everything else is either Masterworks (mostly) or Essential (I have the one that includes the issues in Thor Masterworks #7, which sells for ungodly amounts of money due to a lower print run, I believe). I grab the earlier floppies when I see them cheap ($10 or less, although I have a hard time pulling the trigger unless they're at $6 or less) and still in good condition (intact and with no major defects, some foxing is OK).

This one helps fill in my goal of filling in #50-100 for ASM. 16 more to go including the pricey one, #50 This little lot has what I hope is a nice copy of Star Wars (looks okay!) as well as some other stuff

Spider-Man #55 is the third issue in a four-part Doctor Octopus epic. I used to have #53 and #55 and I had the other two parts in reprints in Marvel Tales. Its awesome!

The collecting of the O'Neil issues is underway (plus #300 for good measure).
