We took a trip into Columbus today and after all you can eat pancakes at IHOP I went to the Half Price books near the OSU campus and picked up a few things, followed by a trip to Big Fun for some vintage toys (see the toy acquisition thread for pics of the toys). At Half Price here was the haul... ![](http://i1300.photobucket.com/albums/ag94/jewaap/columbus%20comic%20haul_zps5wvjotmm.jpeg) I finally managed to track down some Love & Rockets trades... Vol. 2 and 9 ![](http://i1300.photobucket.com/albums/ag94/jewaap/columbus%20lr_zps3c2ajbga.jpeg) snagged a copy of Lone Wolf & Cub Vol. 4 and an issue of Doomsday +1 by Byrne from the dollar bins. ![](http://i1300.photobucket.com/albums/ag94/jewaap/columbus%20lone%20wolf%20doomsday_zpsv1uabymt.jpeg) Also from the dollar bin, a pair of Walt Simonson Orion issues I needed and some various Spirit comics including #1 and 2 of the Matt Wagner series for Dynamite which I missed... ![](http://i1300.photobucket.com/albums/ag94/jewaap/Columbus%20spirit%20orion_zpsifsmcmqp.jpeg) and from the $1 kid comics box, I snagged a bunch of issues of Justice League Unlimited based on the Timm animated series... ![](http://i1300.photobucket.com/albums/ag94/jewaap/Solumbus%20JL%20Animated_zps2bgafyk3.jpeg) not a huge haul but some stuff I am happy to have. -M Very cool how are those spirit books ? ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Very cool how are those spirit books ? ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I haven't had a chance to read them yet, I was focused on finishing up the Grell Green Arrow run and the 50s material I owned, and then dove into the Comico Jonny Quest series. I hope to check out the Wagner issues in the next couple of days, but I have been dealing with some sinus issues and the sinus headaches make reading a bit uncomfortable at times, so haven't done much reading the past few days. -M

Purchased the following. Im not too keen on Firestorm but am interested to read the Shadow. I am happy I to get an affordable copy of that first Nightwing too...these two give me the entire Judas Contract storyline.

Actually Pinkfloyd, the story arc after issue 351-352, after the Tri Sentinel stuff, later is the Punisher and Moon Knight for the Sidekick Robin revenge story arc whatever it is.

The Shadow #1 is incredibly good. That book really put Mike Kaluta on the map.

My only real classic purchase for some time is Captain America 101, only 500 or so to go for the run...
