I'm picking up The Futurians Comic Book at my Comic Book Store and see it myself this upcoming Friday. Sorry about letting this subject continues. I just had to share this news. YAY!!! MORE FUTURIANS.

</div>dammit, I love Medusa. So much. Same because of her red hair! I still haven't read it yet as I'm tempted to just read it whilst I'm at work.

I really like Silkie from Futurians. I LOVE that she keeps telling people to stop calling her "GIRL", but they do it anyway. And it makes her so mad. I love her powers. I just think she's fantastic.

Went looking for baseball cards yesterday afternoon, but the shop I went to had just sent out the year I'm currently collecting to his collator to work some new collections into the mix . He'll get the boxes back in a couple of weeks, so I moseyed across the street to a little comics shop I get to a handful of times each year and found the following:
Abadazad #1-3 - I've always heard good things about this but never read it, so at $1 per book, I thought I'd take the chance.
Conan the Barbarian #18 and Annual #2 - $3 each
Marvel Team-Up #12 (Spidey and Werewolf by Night) - $3
Giant-Size Master of Kung Fu #3 - $3
They had a bunch of Sub-Mariner comics from #50 up and Captain Marvel from #30 up @$3 each, but I need to concentrate on finishing some other runs first, and I've heard bad things about the higher-numbered Subby issues and I'm not much of a Cosmic Marvel fan anyway, so I passed.

Thanks Richard. Nice haul to you as well. Abadazad is great. Do you know how many total issues Abadazad ran? I believe the issues you got are the first book, and then there is The Dream Thief, Book 2. There was also a Book 3 released in the UK only called The Puppet, the Professor, and the Prophet. I've only read the first 3 issues that you have though.

Went to local shop today...they still had 6 or 7 long boxes of newer stuff I had yet to look through. Found a few things, Daredevil Noir, Captaim America White #0, couple issues of Foolkiller from the 90's. But I also saw this and just could not say no. What a gorgeous cover. Cool thing was it had the cover of Ms Marvel #1 from the 70's on the back cover.

Was out shopping with Amy today getting odds and ends for the holidays and we stopped at a store called Ollie's which deals in buyouts, etc. In their book section they had grab-bags of comics 10 for $6 ranging in books from the 80s-current Marvel Now stuff. Didn't get any of those, but they also had a crap-ton of Checkers trades-I picked up 5 volumes of Milton Caniff's Steve Canyon-1949, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954 all for $2.99 each plus an extra 15% off for Amy's shopper's club. Some comic shop or warehouse unloaded this stuff to Ollie's for pennies and I was happy to get a chance to sample some of the Caniff's stuff for the price. They had a bunch of Early Work's of Windsor McKay and CrossGen trades too, but I had the Cross Gen volumes they had and decided t pass on the McCay stuff for now. Here's the 1953 volume... -M
