Bought on the 11th, shipped the same day, received on the 29th via Asendia + Correos. Third LS order to arrive (fastest yet) out of five: "Finishing" the Layton era and getting closer to do the same for the Gruenwald one. Now I have ALL the Wolfman/Perez issues. (I think Pérez did the layouts on a few more later on.)
I'm waiting for the rest, I ordered these from LS because they're two bucks each but NM. I say "but" because it looks like once they reach $2 they don't care to price them differently. You can order a FN or a NM for $2. This doesn't become apparent by looking at one particular issue, as they only list one grade for each, but the pattern is there if you look at all the issues for the same series with a price of $2.

Is that sarcasm? It doesn't look like Bolland.

Is this a Brian Bolland cover? I think it's by Glenn Lumsden, an Australian artist who drew a Phantom miniseries for Marvel in the mid-90s. Bolland seems to be one of his main influences.

I had done some work recently helping the owner of my LCS sell some Magic: The Gathering cards he'd had back in his storeroom for over two decades. He knew I was still connected with the game and asked me to take a look at what he had, and I was able to sell some of the cards for a decent amount (almost $1000 total).
For my time and effort, he gave me two Sandman TPBs (The Kindly Ones and The Wake), as I have been buying one of those per month from him this year to collect the whole series, and a copy of Batman #378 that I was going to pick up because it had a Mad Hatter appearance.

I went to the comic book shop in Fullerton and purchased:
Marvel Chillers #4 - Tigra fights Kraven! With art by Frank Robbins and Vince Colletta.
Legion of Super-Heroes #259 - the first appearance of the LSH in their own book instead of just co-starring with Superboy. Co-star in this issue: Superboy.
Luke Cage, Power Man #21 - Power Man must face the challenge of Power Man!

Today I completed the Archie Mighty Crusaders series. These 2 complete the 13 issue run.

Here's what I picked up yesterday at Champion City-as a vendor I didn't spend much time hunting, these all came from my friend Jesse's dollar bins, and I had outstanding trade credit with him, so none of these cost me anything out of pocket. A pair of Corben books, I may already have these, but I can't pass up Fantagor Corben books for a buck... a 9 spot of Unknown Soldier issues I needed, all but one with Kubert covers... a good chunk of the Verotik series based on Frazetta's Jaguar God, many of which with Frazetta covers... a trio of misc books of interest to me from the Silver and Bronze eras... a pair of Disney books including an Uncle Scrooge issue I needed... and a couple of DC books including one of the three WW issues featuring Zatanna I have been looking for to add to my Zee collection... That's all. I wish I had more time to dig, or had a bigger budget available, but I had just done a show the week before so I was at this show to make money, not spend it. -M

Early Bronze Age Lois is awesome ... if also frequently kind of stupid.
