Well just a minute ago nearly punt kicked a bitch mutt chihuahua in our house because after a 11 hour day of work as I kick off my shoes she bites me! I'd been home less than a minute! For all I know the mutt was hiding in my Chucks and jumped out. Stupid dog. I am the reason you're in the warm house and not freezing in the cold. Your owner's boyfriend may not let it in his house where she's staying next door but my kids play on my emotions and talk me into it every time we get a cold snap as if animals haven't been surviving the elements longer than man has been on the planet. And she bites and runs because she's probably less than 10 pounds and could probably get eaten by one of Dan's cats if they went carnivorous. She's like a spoiled, ungrateful four legged brat child. I am up early on New Year's Day because I have orders to catch up on. I have gotten horribly behind on work since my mom has been in the hospital, so I am going to be spending today, and probably through the weekend, catching up.  While drinking my coffee and waking up, I am also making a wishlist on IST. |

I'm on my computer taking files off that I won't need for 2015. I always spend January 1st licking my wounds and vegging out after another hard December delivering huge parcels and fighting the darkness/cold.

We're having "pajama day" at our house since we have nowhere else to be today. Just finished watching Brave, and while my girls are eating lunch, I figured I would hop on here for a few and check in with everyone. After lunch, we plan on a day of board games and just hanging out with each other, and maybe later I'll watch some college football (I'm really interested in the Oregon-FSU matchup).

I'm at work too. . but I WFH a lot, so I have my desktop (which I'm typing on now) open behind my work Laptop. so I'm available to deal with any work issues, but still have some time to do "other stuff" as well. coming off a two week holiday shutdown - even tho I worked some of those days -- I expect TONS of action items today, and a very busy week. But as it's not even 9:30 yet, most of the folks haven't shown up/logged in yet. so still a bit quiet (hope it stays that way!) |
