Sorry I missed your response. If you mean you do not recognize the reference, it is an American soap opera that's been going on for decades that I got exposed to when I got married. My wife and mother in law had been following it for years before I met her. The comparison is because soap operas never go anywhere week after week. And the same characters (whether represented by the same actor or actress) never develop or go anywhere, and the same tired tripe gets brought up every episode. Which is what I feel like the Alien franchise would have turned into had it stayed centered on Ripley & Co rather than branch out as it has.  Mah-Jing sums up my reaction pretty well. I know what it is. Robin and Stone were a popular couple on GH in the 90's (when I was a teenager). Stone died because of HIV, Robin is still on the show sometimes.  So cute. Robin has been on the show since I was little:  I was saying that I like soap operas and was politefullying disagreeing; I guess my GH reference was too obscure for a comic book forum or something. Nope, not too obscure...for some of us.  Actually, Robin is back for a few episodes this week, as Maxie is getting married, so she's in town for the wedding. |

I believe Claudette is somehow throwing a monkeywrench into that and she's not even on the show right now. I saw that at the end of Wednesday's show, but I didn't catch yesterday's episode yet, as I was bingeing some Jessica Jones last night. I'll try to get caught up over the weekend. |

It's awesome until you buy a primer and lipstick that your lips have an odd reaction to, and they dry them out, and you scrub like mad to get it off your lips, and now you look like you have diseased lips. Because that's me right now.  I have been keeping vitamin E on them. But, ouch. |

Mostly plain, although now you mentioned lemon it has opened conundrums in my head, I shall get a couple this weekend. My friends used to look at me funny when I'd go by the dispenser and fill my mug with hot instead of cold water...but it's 0 calories and works. |

I am pretty partial to Tim Curry's anything, but that new It clown actually looks very interesting to me. He looks pretty crazy. Hollywood needs to chill on all the clowns though. They're wearing it out. |

Just got off the phone with my comics dealer, he just got his shipment of 400+ back issues in and I'll be thumbing through them first thing in the morning. Maybe I'll have some pics to post soon.....
