My cat just had her monthly vomit eruption and I have to clean up Count yourself lucky it's only monthly. Weekly or daily would better describe the frequency of such eruptions for some of the cats we have had over the years. Akkk pttthb hairball express coming right up! -M

Working from home today. I have a bit of a cold right now, nothing debilitating but certainly slowing me down, so I wasn't sure about making it a full day in the office.
Luckily, my calendar was meeting-free, I have things I can work on remotely, and my supervisor is off today as well, so I'm on my couch wrapped up in a blanket, fireplace going and cup of tea next to me, working on an RFP for a multi-million dollar project.

Disneyland or Disneyworld? Disneyland. Little Jez has a date with Darth Vader. Very nice. Hope Little Jez doesn't go over to the Dark Side (unless that's your plan ) We just booked a four-day trip to Disneyworld for October, with a two-day pass to Universal on the side. My older daughter's head nearly exploded when we told her that part, as she's a HUGE Harry Potter geek.

Every time someone mentions Disneyland, I automatically think of the Robin Williams routine talking about taking his son to Disneyland...
"to a 3 year old, Mickey Mouse is a 6 foot f***ing rat!" and such.

Little Jez already knows how to use the force....on her dad's wallet Disneyworld is awesome, I've been there twice so far but little Jez was too small (3) to remember her first time. We have to do it again sometime, helps having family living in Florida...

I lived in New York City my entire life except for the 9 months I lived in Los Angeles when I was 12 years old in 1966. My parents promised me a trip to Disneyland. That's all I thought about all week, I'm going to Disneyland. And then the day came. Disneyland day. And then it was announced that Walt Disney had passed away. Disneyland day is cancelled, the park will be closed. We went the next day. It didn't feel right.

It's 4:17AM and I've been awake for two hours. There's no production at the warehouse tomorrow so I have the day off. I could get out of bed at 5:00AM, but that's still so early. Doesn't look like I'll be able to get back to sleep.

Watching season one of Freddy's Nightmares, drinking the last beer I have in my fridge, and craving a milkshake.
