I thought most time references in Marvel comics stopped in the 70's, but I'm reading Owsley's PM&IF and so far I've found two instances in two different issues placing the action in: 1985!
The way I see it, this is a clear case of defiance against editorial mandate. For how long did it go? what's the last date reference to be found on a Marvel comic?

In Garth Ennis’ Punisher, Frank Castle ages in real time. At the beginning of the series we find he has been fighting organized crime for almost 30 years already.

That's Earth-200111, I was thinking of good old 616.

Spiderman Life Story had Peter age in real time if I'm not mistaken. But I am curious, Did Franklin and Valeria, for example age in real time and if so when did they stop aging?

In Warren Ellis' Excalibur, member Pete Wisdom's mother was murdered several years before in the Hungerford Massacre, which happened in 1987. In Hickman's Secret Warriors (and presumably elsewhere as well), we see Captain America's grave/monument (after presumed to have died during Brubaker's run). It has 2008 on it as the year of death.

That reminds me of something tolworthy wrote: The latest time reference I see him mentioning in FF was 1980. Besides, after the 80's, Marvel had kind of done a silent reboot. Wondering about late 80's time references.

Not to rain on tolworthy's parade, but in real life how often do we mention years? Mostly births, marriages, gravestones and newspapers as well.
I'll have a look at Clan Destine once I get home or Hickman's Secret Warriors/S.H.I.E.L.D. series, both are the kinda things that would mention real years. Or maybe some Marvel UK titles, I remember that Jamie Delano mentioned some dates in Captain Britain (Brian graduated in 1976).

I feel like it was in fits and starts... I remember them being toddlers.. then they were like 7 and 10 during the Future Foundation time... then when Slott started his big run they seemed like teenagers.

The latest time reference I see him mentioning in FF was 1980. Besides, after the 80's, Marvel had kind of done a silent reboot. Wondering about late 80's time references. Once Marvel changed their distribution system in 1968, the titles began expanding faster than anyone's ability to oversee them. By 1976, I can at least point to Storm's origin story in X-Men #102 depicting her as being born in 1950. That doesn't play well with Peter Parker being in his late teens in 1963 (making him roughly five years older than Storm) since Peter is definitely not pushing 30 in 1976 while storm is supposed to be 25.

Peter Parker being in his late teens in 1963 He was 15 in AF 15. Went to college in ASM 31 (three years later) and graduated in '78 (ASM 185). And no, he didn't miss any scholar year. He just missed a lot of years altogether, so he was 23 or 24.

Peter Parker being in his late teens in 1963 He was 15 in AF 15. Wasn't that added retroactively several decades after the fact?
