Saving Private Ryan - by John Williams Fantastic score. So moving. Williams is the master. Certainly one of the greats, no doubt. I'll see ya Saving Private Ryan and raise you Superman: the movie. Just nails the heartbeat of the character and the tone of the picture. So good.

Always love 1992 'Dracula' by Wojciech Kilar. Just a haunting, mesmerizing masterwork. Everybody wanted there score to sound like this after '92':

I watched Orson Welles's 1951 Othello last night and the soundtrack by Italian film composer Angelo Francesco Lavagnino was excellent. I'll be keeping an eye out for his name in the credits from now on.

While I'm on Vampires, fresh in me brains, I forgot the granddaddy of'em all. What a beautiful score by Hans Erdmann. The silent era has just always been fascinating to me and will forever have it's mystic:
