I picked up both Luke Cage and Spider-Woman and while I knew they were part of a big crossover I was really hoping they could be read on their own. Luke Cage definitely seemed more tied into the rehash of TMNT's City At War than Spider-Woman but I think I'll give them both another try.

I got a few of those too.. I was actually expecting it to be a Marvel version of City At War, which I thought would be fun. I'm also a bit invested in the whole Luke Cage as mayor thing, so I figured I'd check it out... haven't read them yet though (just picked them up this week). Maybe tomorrow.
I did read the finale of Steelworks , which was decidedly meh. Michael Dorn did a passable writing job, but the story was just nothing to write home about, and he put all the toys back where he found them at the end.

It certainly seems like a City at war kind of story which could be fun. And I checked out of Steelworks after the second issue. I love Steel, and Dorn is such an awesome dude but it just wasn't an interesting book.

Seems like the same event they've done with this group of characters several other times in the last few years, just with a different bad guy (or bad guys in this case). I might get the rest of the Luke Cage series, but that'll be it.
