What's the story behind that Action comic? It's an ashcan used to secure the copyright on the name Action Comics. There are apparently three copies known to exist. It contains stories from earlier issues of Detective Comics. |

BTW, if you want to give yourself a treat, look up some of Flessel's sketches/commissions he did in the 2000s. Really nice stuff!  |

There's so much that's great about this cover. the female in the foreground is drawn to look like a mannequin. While she says she plans to compete with the male, he's feeling her up. The women in the background are undressing and wearing skimpy outfits.
