Thanks to everybody for participating with many, many excellent covers, although I'm happy that a cover by the recently departed Trina Robbins won the day (hat-tip to Farrar for picking it - I was initially going to use it as my sample cover but then decided that someone else should have the opportunity).

@hots: the cover I posted--with the purple background--is the first printing. From what i know, the second and third printings--also from 1970--have the green background.
I am in the middle of something at the moment but will be back soon with the new contest. Thanks again and I'm glad I had the chance to celebrate the wonderful Trina Robbins.
