I need to SHOW some of my purchases...whats best for uploading pictures so as to not eat up the site's capacity? I am very behind on visually sharing with you folks. Recently acquired the Daredevil Marvel Graphic Novel. Unsure where I stand on Sienkiewicz but his art intrigues me. That and I just love some of the Marvel Graphic Novels, would love to get them all as I have yet to read one that I hate. Also picked up first three Infinity Gauntlet issues. I already have the series but these were cheap so I will probably keep the best copies and sell the rest amidst the movie spec/hype.

Any file sharing/photo hosting site that allows you to do the same would be fine. -M

Also, you don't need to register an account or anything. But as mrp says, any free image hosting site will do.

It was unreadable in the Showcase format.

Druillet's Delirius I saw this in Forbidden Planet the other week. Seriously groovy stuff. I have it in an early French edition. My French is not THAT good so that adds to the 'otherness' of it. Not sure if I would want to read his stuff translated. I have Yragael Urm in the Dragon's Dream edition and try not to read the words. They're pretty bloody awful. Back on Topic. Saturday I spent a happy hour racking through '3 for a quid' long boxes buying about half the Vertigo Books of Magic run and various other bits and bobs. Including a Howard Chaykin thing which is the only comic I think I have ever come across where the covers were printed on thinner paper than the pages.

No pics but I just received in the mail my 2 most recent classic purchases. Captain America 156 and 193. Both quite significant for me, 156 being part of my favourite storyline and the only 4 issues I have to own of anything, and 193 is the return of the King and one of the most iconic Cap covers of all.
So Im extremely pleased to have them, average condition and all.

Im okay with picking up occasional issues, but am thinking of going to mycomicshop or whatever their name is, to get the other 3 issues of that story. Of course it has to be THE story thats worth 4 times (or so) the surrounding issues. Would like to have 100 to 200 or so, maybe even the end of the Kirby run, only approx 90 issues to go.

Had a stack'o packages arrive at Chez mrp today...the art, magazines and trades I had ordered from Amazon/won from the Lonestar auction arrived. As promised pics... a pair of Heavy Metal issues... the Kull OGN (crappy pic apologies) The Walt Simonson print featuring LAW an unused cover for an unpublished project by Uncle Walt... Atu and the Dinosaur print by Sam Glanzman... The Mark A. Nelson print form his gallery showing...signed by Nelson (we have a dinotheme going here), this is bigger than an I anticipated. An original Sandman water color artist unidentified (signature is unintelligible) a trio of trades-Brubaker, Rucka and some Silver Age JLofA goodness... and some mind-bending Druillette art with story in English translation... hmmm so much to look over.... -M

Went to my LCS yesterday to pick up my weekly comics and I came across a trade featuring all Catwoman stories. As I think I've only read 2 of the stories included in the trade I'm really looking forward to reading the others. I've always enjoyed her earlier adventures. Love the Brian Bolland cover.
