Ebay can be the best sometimes.... I found this lot. It was advertised super oddly, with not the best quality photos. I am excited the most about the Batman #237. The others look rough but if #237 is at least a nice VG, I am over the moon. So I take a look at the seller's other items and see this... Ummm....is that a Hulk 180!?! I bid and won both. The Hulk 180 has a folded back corner that probably will time some time to flatten out but I am over the moon. Not a book I thought I would ever afford but definitely excited to have scored it.

Let’s just say that if I keep the two books I mentioned and sell the others, I should break even. Which makes me very happy:)

Last year I got a pair of Kirby THORs from near the end of the run... but I don't have any decent scans of them yet.

Weird that they would do that separate when they're doing all the Don Rosa stories in order.

Weird that they would do that separate when they're doing all the Don Rosa stories in order. Not so weird if you consider many folks don't necessarily want a "complete" collection sometimes. And why so weird when publisher's tend to publish stories of higher demand and interest? Plus the story is split into 2 of the Rosa Library books so this collects it all in one volume. And this isn't the 1st time for this singular adventure being collected.

I dipped my toe back in with a Canadian seller on ebay I've ordered from before... three of those '98-'00 DC 80 Page Giants I didn't have (love the format and variety of one-shot stories by various writers/artists), plus Invaders #21 having had #20 and wanting to read the end of the storyline. I'm thinking Hitler isn't going to have kept Captain America's shield for very long.

I don't know if they're classics but I just bought these from eBay. I already have number one and seeing the other three of the series at an affordable price was just too much of a temptation...
