Team Fluff bested Team Ruff 93-38 to become the Puppy Bowl XIII champions. What was the point spread? Ruff was a 6.5 point favorite.

Watching hockey and drinking a bacon and maple syrup flavored soda. I'm only enjoying one of the those two activities.

I just got done watching Children of the Corn and suddenly I remember why I skipped K-12 and went straight to teaching college.

You're only lying to yourself and everyone else if you say you never thought about doing this.

Carl Bernstein: Republicans are openly discussing president's emotional maturity and stability. WIN!! Better late than never?

I think the big news this week was that calling the president's critics a bunch of crybabies and mocking overweight protesters did not turn Trump into a good leader with any workable ideas. WIN? Especially since a federal court just issued a stay on the immigration order. Detainees are expected to be released shortly. Protests work, and they're going to become more and more commonplace the longer Trump stays in power.

It's a betrayal of everything this country is supposed to stand for. We're seeing white, Christian supremacy practiced openly by our own government. I'm absolutely disgusted by what I see happening. I'll respectfully disagree. I'm both white and Christian, and what we're seeing is bigotry being perpetrated by a lunatic being encouraged by right-wing hate groups that have nothing to do with Christianity's true message. If one believes that ISIS is an aberrant offshoot of Islam, then the same needs to be thought of this group and known that they do not represent the whole. I totally agree with what you're saying here. Christian supremacy has absolutely nothing to do with the faith itself. It's just one more tool bigots use to hold on to power. I would never lump genuine followers of any belief in with the people who pervert it for their own benefit.

About 1000 or so people turned out in Oakland this afternoon in solidarity with with immigrants affected by Trump's bigoted executive action. Believe me, you're not alone in your feelings on this. I got home from comic shopping to find my wife sitting in a room, away from our daughters, her phone open to CNN and just bawling her eyes out. It's a betrayal of everything this country is supposed to stand for. We're seeing white, Christian supremacy practiced openly by our own government. I'm absolutely disgusted by what I see happening.

I am ashamed to be an American today. I am disgusted by the actions of the man in the Oval Office to ban 130 million people from the United States simply because of the country of their origin. I am sickened by the fact that green card holders from those same countries have to apply for a waiver to be processed if they are currently out of the country, even though they are allowed to be here legally. It is my sincere prayer that the impeachment process starts 10 minutes ago. About 1000 or so people turned out in Oakland this afternoon in solidarity with with immigrants affected by Trump's bigoted executive action. Believe me, you're not alone in your feelings on this.
