Beast and Wondy's lovechild. Wondy is his ionic energy form. Always hated that look, but they keep on using it.

The US press about Sallis is all about Wallace & Gromit; but, I first discovered Sallis in Last of the Summer Wine, back in the mid-80s, when the series was broadcast on A&E (which was like a cable version of a PBS station, in those days). Their weekend evening programming was all Britcoms of the era and Last Of the Summer Wine was part of it. I also saw Butterflies, Solo, Black Adder I & II, Yes Minister, The Faint-Hearted Feminist and Father, Dear Father. Sallis was a fine actor and comedian and his character was a delight. He was a versatile actor, too. I saw him last night playing a villain in an early sixties episode of The Avengers, and he also appeared in episodes of The Persuaders and Doctor Who (he played dropout scientist Penley in the 1967 serial The Ice Warriors).

A lot of good ones this time, a really tough choice because he was just such a great cover artist. But I'm going with Rob Allen, as that's the cover I'd have gone with if he hadn't got there first.

Veteran British actor Peter Sallis, best known for playing Noman Clegg in the long running sitcom Last of the Summer Wine and the voice of Wallace in the Wallace & Gromit animations, has died aged 96.

Well, we will have to be on opposite sides regarding tying together these terror attacks with US gun control laws. I see no reason where one has to do with the other. From the London Bridge incident, to the Manchester Festival, to the Boston Marathon bombing, to 9/11, to the numerous terror attacks in Egypt,The Middle East and Asia-where is US Gun Control part of the equation. It's a totally separate argument, many points I'll probably agree with you. But these ISIS attacks would have taken place no matter what gun laws prevailed in the States Oh, I agree absolutely! Terrorists will find a way, no matter what, and their motivation is definitely a more important aspect of the equation than the tools at their disposal. I wasn't the one to first mention gun control in the wake of the latest attack : Donald Trump himself was, in what can only be seen as a very disingenuous tweet (or a logically flawed one). No, Mr. Trump, we're not talking about gun control right now, you're right... it is not germane to the issue at hand. We'll talk about gun control the next time someone goes on a rampage in a school with a weapon he should never have had access to. Right now London has been attacked by crazies, and the thing to do is say "we're by your side, Mr. Khan", not scoring political points with the NRA on the back of Londoners. The moron has now done it again, BBC News reporting that "Trump renews attack on Mayor of London", apparently he has some real problem with the fact that Khan is actually daring to try and reassure people!!! What does this orange imbecile want, for us all to be in a permanent state of panic? What the hell does it have to do with him, anyway?

Trump : 30,000 dead each year because of your gun laws... so what's your point? Trump is a disgrace. Congrats to the brave London policemen who stopped the rampage in under eight minutes, and to all the English citizens who refuse to be cowed by terrorists or to be coaxed into xenophobia by demagogues. The man is an idiot. He really needs to learn when to stop talking.

This is the kind of thing that keeps me up at night. Terrorism is incurable. There is no leader to negotiate terms with, and no way to prevent further attacks. When they are organized enough to repeatedly hit one nation, what can be done? It's truly terrifying stuff. You can't negotiate with people who don't actually want anything except to kill people. They're just mad.

Just woke up to the news of another terrorist incident, at London Bridge last night. Six people dead, 48 injured, after three maniacs drove a van into a crowd of people, then started randomly stabbing anyone they could reach. Police shot all three of them. What the hell is happening?

Mine's simple enough: it's my ebay username. T. Ingram is my name (the 'T' stands for Tony) and the retro part is because I deal in vintage comics and collectibles.

And the green one with the rocket pack is absolutely the worst. I think everyone agrees on that.

I actually liked the George Perez redesign best. Followed by the original. The safari suit was OK, but it was hardly memorable and it screams "eighties" now.

Beast is in Uncanny Avengers? Really? That's kinda cool.. since when? Is it the actual (pardon the pun) real McCoy, or the AoA one, or some other one, or what? The real Beast. He was a part of the storyline where they finally beat the Red Skull and deprived him of the psychic powers he'd stolen from the late Professor X; Beast performed brain surgery!

He looks like Doom at a BDS&M party. Actually, he doesn't, because Doom no longer looks like Doom. Not since he got his face fixed, reformed, and took over as Iron Man...

Really? Huh... so the Agents of SHIELD book ended then? Or is that the one? (Hard to keep track of all the moving parts these days) Funny Fury gets a magic eye, but no shoes... The S.H.I.E.L.D book ended, yes. And I don't think the Watchers wanted Nick to be too comfortable...
