The second episode was every bit as good as the first, I love the baby. Agreed. I am most definitely enjoying this. -M

Yep Safe to say I’m on board at this point. If they can keep up this level of quality, I hope we get multiple seasons. They should’ve given the new trilogy to Favreau. I'd definitely be down with a trilogy by Fav and Fioni, they really get what makes Star Wars fun. As an aside, I love the Mandalorian's theme. Music has always been a big part of my love of Star Wars and this is definitely a worthy addition to that list of greats. It's perhaps not as powerful as the Imperial March or the theme for the Opening Crawl but it has a unique feel that fits the show perfectly. My wife was just commenting on how much she loves the score and soundtrack to this show. Definitely rates up there in the Star Wars music oeuvre. -M

Holy Hell episode three. That was something I wanted to see on screen since 1980 when I first saw Boba Fett's armor...

I finally had a chance to watch the first episode of The Madalorian last night. It was enjoyable, not life-altering or anything, but I'll keep watching it to see where it goes.
The things I liked the most were all of the tie-backs to the original movies, like the squid-faced guy at the beginning or the bounty droid similar to IG-88, and the ridiculously-high production value. It's obvious they spent a ton on this, and every penny shows.
Oh, and the baby. Once my girls see that, it's ALL they're going to be talking about.

I liked the play on Seven Samurai in the latest episode, I was kind of hoping that would be used in the Obi-Wan mini but it definitely worked well here.

It's fitting that the Mandolorian give a nod to Kurosawa's Seven Samurai, as his Hidden Fortress was such a big influence on Lucas in the first tat Wars movie. -M

I'm loving the use of actual physical effects in the Mandalorian; from the puppet for baby yoda to the ship explosion this episode.

Maybe I’m in the minority, but the last 3 episodes have felt like a major step down from the first 3.

Looks like Lando isn't the only one coming back... So the Ewoks must defeat the First Order, or whatever it's called. Though I'm not much of an Ewok fan, I'd love to see that, as it would give me a good chuckle. Good to see Warwick Davis, anyway.
