Yeah we like hearing from ya
Don't have Century Link, but what I've heard has been less than flattering.

My BF is in Seattle dealing with tax stuff and attending a funeral and things are up in the air just now for me, but I might be away again for as long as over a month, unless we get some better internet connection in Oregon than centurylink which keeps crapping out, along with the electricity as well sometimes, but that's usually storm related. He gets back later tomorrow and then we plan out the next month or so. So I might be suddenly busy/silent again for quite awhile. No worries. What part of Oregon? I'm in Washington County, online with Frontier. They've been good for me.

beccabear67 ... You could go to any Starbucks and sit down 15-30 minutes and do your stuff here. They are pretty darn good service and I go there when I'm not home. When, I travel in the United States ... A local Starbucks is a godsend to me and stay connected with Family, Friends, and of course CCF.

I haven't been on the forum much lately due to personal stuff. Trying to catch up on stuff I missed.

Spent the weekend doing something I haven't done in several years: updating my massive (365 pages!) Marvel Universe Character Index. I added data from the Jack of Hearts, Prince Namor the Sub-Mariner, and X-Men and The Micronauts mini-series, plus the last three issues of Shogun Warriors. It's something I've been wanting to do for a while but couldn't, of course, because of my commitment to TwoMorrows. I've got it out of my system for now, so it's back to researching my proposed history of comic book westerns.
Cei-U! I summon the delayed gratification!

So if you get into an accident (your fault) and you're driving without insurance you only get a ticket?! You should lose your license for that! and brutalis, it sounds like you need a new insurance company. I've got GEICO, and I've only had to call them once (due to a flat tire) and they were great. They had a truck out there to fix my flat in a very reasonable amount of time. I used to have GEICO. Then I had a minor accident, my fault, which caused a few hundred dollars damage. 1st and only claim with them, no tickets, no previous accidents, spotless record. My rates skyrocketed. I ended up had to switch companies. That's something the lizard never tells you.

What part of Oregon? I'm in Washington County, online with Frontier. They've been good for me. Clatsop County. I'll check into Frontier, and also the library. Neither of us drink coffee. We do have a laptop and get wifi on the road sometimes, I collect my email and do a few essentials and I'm sure I'll find a bit of time for other things too even with the crappy connection.

Think I set the land/speed record with my auto accident. Got hit Wednesday morning 5am. Thursday 8:30am adjuster calls and says the car is being considered as totaled.Thursday 3:20pm insurance agent company reviewer calls and they have worked out the finances and the car loan is payed off to the lien holder with a $2000 check for me to come in and receive. Friday I left work early and picked up the check and deposited into my bank account while spending the afternoon on the internet going through Truecar and Carfax researching. Went Saturday morning at 9:00am with a friend to the Ford Dealership he used, told them what I was looking for. They had 2 options in my price range and test drove both choosing a 2016 Ford Taurus SEL with around 28,000 miles. Walked out just before noon driving my "new" used car and with the least amount of hassle I have ever known. Talk about being happily surprised.

Hi if you get the tapatalk app for your phone you can post to this forum from it. Just a idea for you. Hope things work out and get better for you. 😊
