Every religion’s the one true religion. And I fail to see how my comment contradicts your statement. It doesn't.

Blessed be the Bard upon his day of birthing. Where would we be without ol' Will?

I'm going to London on the 30th of April; four days earlier than I thought and coming back home on the 10th of May due to the tour of Castles in Scotland been cut short due to lack of people in at the end of our trip. Some of them had to get back home by the 15th of May and that's causes some problems. My girlfriend and I have been working to see if we can get home on the 8th of May so that we can attend a dear friend birthday on the 10th that will be celebrating her 70th birthday; and we may get an answer in a day or two from British Airways. It's been cut short by one week and it's a shame that this happen today.

You'll still have a great time I'm sure.
Today is my oldest daughter's birthday. She and my son-in-law surprised everyone with a trip to Morocco.
Looking forward to their pics.

Because I had been before, I felt more confident getting around from place to place by foot as opposed to moving about by way of the Underground as much as I had done in the past. It really gave me a sense of how compact the city is and how much you can get done in a day. Not that I'm suggesting that you travel everywhere by foot, but there's very little in London which should take you a while to get to from any other place. 221b Baker Street is literally a block away from Mdme. Tussauds which is within walking distance of Regent's Park, which is about a 15 minute walk from Abbey Road which is... Not sure what's on your itinerary Mecha, but if aren't planning to already, I'd strongly recommend a visit to The Churchill War Rooms though it's recommended you arrive early in the morning to avoid a long wait in line. The British Museum is currently housing an Edvard Munch exhibit including The Scream and while I didn't take advantage of that, it's also currently featuring The Rosetta Stone, a Roman copy of the Discobolus, and about a million other things whose significance to history probably went over my head. A warning though - The tower at Parliament is undergoing repairs, so if you're planning on hearing Big Ben or seeing the tower itself, you're out of luck, but it's still an otherwise impressive sight. Have fun and I hope we'll get a full report from you on how things went when you get back!

My girlfriend and I will be seeing Churchill War Room on the 2nd day when we get there and later on seeing the British Museum and spending 3 days surrounding the London Eye with another couple before heading to Scotland to visit her dear friends there. Basically the first 5 days in London and the rest of the time in Scotland with our dear friends entertaining us. We are leaving the 30th and coming back home on the 10th of May. About the Churchill War Rooms ... that will be my fifth visit; my last one in 2014 and looking forwarding seeing it again. Been there in 1994, 1999, 2004, and 2014 ... my fifth visit in 2019. I spend about 3 hours in each visit at least.

He's pretty all-right. I'm pretty sure that the guberif trip was one of many to Yellowstone.

Eisner nominations are out. Which is probably reason for a thread of its own in the modern forum. But for those who are long-time CBR people, Aaron Kashtan, who posted for years as Sir Tim Drake (among a few other handles) was nominated for his scholarly book Between Pen and Pixel: Comics, Materiality, and the Book of the Future, by Aaron Kashtan (Ohio State University Press).

Way to go, Sir Tim!!! It's nice to see how several of the old CBR gang made their mark in the comic-book field (starting with our own Cei-U!!)

If you've been enjoying the MCU movies at all, I have to say Endgame was REALLY good. That is all.
