Thankee. I'm pushing a piece of the apple caramel crumb cake through to you all! I can't add the vanilla ice cream without things short-circuiting however. And I confirmed a Fantastic Four #150 is on it's way, and a Captain America #171! Both from fellow Canadians. I think I lost a half dozen auctions for both in the last week or so... yes, a memorable birthday.

It's November 2019...are you sure your neighbor isn't a replicant? Alternate thought-when you reach the date of a movie set in in the "far" future that you saw as a teen-ager when it was released, you realize, hey this means I am old now... -M

The person my wife works for is having a 70's party and bought this to , I guess ,be part of the decorations. She didn't like the condition it was in and, instead of returning it , she gave it to my wife.

The thought that the future of that movie is now 18 years in the past kinda wigs me out if I think about it too long.
Cei-U! I summon the cognitive dissonance!

Happy birthday Ms Becca. I’m not a fan of cider but I’ll celebrate late for you with a drink today.
Yeah, Back to the Future said we’d having flying cars what like 10 years ago. But no I’m still stuck on the ground dealing with American drivers twice a day five days a week.

Same feeling when I was a kid reading Famous Monsters and they showed stills from Frankenstein 1970. Even though it was probably 1965 or '66, I remember feeling that 1970 sounded so super-science-fictional and far-off. Time moves at such a different pace when you're 10 or 11.

She didn't like the condition it was in and, instead of returning it , she gave it to my wife. I remember seeing the Steve Austin doll back in the day; it had a mini-telescope for one eye. You had to look through the back of his head... but... Jaime has a Mission Purse!

Just curious anyone here have a you tube channel with videos ? I technically have a youtube channel attached to my google/youtube account, but I have never uploaded any videos to it. I could, but I won't/don't. -M
