Hollywood ReporterForbesVarietyand all the typical comic book news sites. -M I still say get Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Alan Burnett. Those guys understand the characters and how to translate them. Doesn't matter that they work in animation, as they know how to craft stories that appeal to a mass audience, while incorporating the key elements of these characters for the fans. Also, they are experienced in Hollywood and know how to work on tighter budgets that would be helpful in keeping the costs reasonable, while still delivering bang for the buck. I'll take animation directors transitioning to film directing over music video directors any day. |
