Bright Eyes from Police Comics 22 had such hypnotically beautiful eyes that they were exploited by his cruel father in this Plastic Man tale.

Similar to the exaggeratedly rounded and widened eyes of a certain style of manga character, aren't they. I understand that it's a common comics trope, but I've always found it a creepy effect, myself.

One of the most interesting things about both Maria and Penny Century is that not only are both characters largely defined by their attractiveness and how this affects everyone they come into contact with, but their creators also show how this affects their own lives, their own psyches, their friends and loved ones, etc. Well said. Los Bros. are on a whole other level of comic book creating!

I know this is a cheat because this character falls outside the parameter of a hunk or babe, but the Bright Eyes post immediately made me think of Sunny Sparkle from Shazam! #2.

Mary MarvelThese three pictures are my favorite of her and she is a very lovely young lady and I have a preference towards redheads and looks like an All American Beauty. She is a worthy candidate for this thread.

Lilith Clay from Teen Titans comes to mind. When the team first meets her, the boys comment on her looks which makes Wonder Girl reply with "Hmph" if I remember correctly. May have been some other catty comment. At one point Kid Flash speculated he was attracted to her (Teen Titans 35) and Gnarkk, Dove, Azrael, and most recently Tempest were all attracted to the red headed beauty.

It's kind of creepy but in X-men #1 , all of the original characters wanted to be with Jean Grey including Professor X.

I mean, I know it was a different era (and an even earlier era that Stan Lee et al were coming from). An era in which getting married to a good husband was just about the limit of a lot of women's ambition -- not least because many women still didn't have careers of their own, so finding someone to "look after you" was still a big deal. So yeah, you'd expect there to be a bit of romantic tension, with a beautiful girl in the group, with maybe one or two potential suitors jockeying for position. But all of them wanting a little bit of Jean?! Even dear old Professor X?! Yeah, that is definitely a bit creepy. You just know there must be erotic fan fic about this out there somewhere.

That may have had more to do with the context of their first meeting (she was seductively dancing in a cage at a dance club) than with her general perceived attractiveness. Unfortunately, that seemed to happen over time to nearly every super team that only had one or two female members. I love the character. I'm just not convinced she was perceived, in universe, as being extraordinarily attractive (as opposed to pretty darn good looking). Although her exotic nature may have set her apart -- her unusual confidence and aloofness.

GORGEOUS images, but I'm not sure she was perceived within her own superhero universe as being exceptionally gorgeous. Come to think of it, how old was she supposed to be in those stories??

Bobby was always girl-crazy, until a recent writer decided that he ought to be boy-crazy instead. Just another retcon throwing out decades of history... (From Iceman #1, 1984, DeMatteis)

Shax, There were two versions ... One of them being Billy Batson's sister and she was either a "twin" or a "younger sister" of which it was difficult to determine. Another version ... is that she was a young adult women resembling her deceased mother and that I know because there were a story about it. Here's a Captain Marvel Family and her mother was named Sarah Primm. This is the best I know ... and the age of the pictures that I selected ... in one version she was a teenager and I don't know exactly what age it was.
