Looking up the covers, I'm not 100% sure I ever read #180, as the cover doesn't ring a bell with me. However, I would probably rate the story near the top of Miller's DD run that I've read just on the basis of the final issue, #181, which also happened to be my last issue of the series, personally, even though I thought it was really good as a stand-alone story. But I didn't care for the way the series was going in general, in spite of having liked most of the Miller run up to and including that issue. Probably it was also part of my general loss of interest in Marvel's product at that time - I think MoKF was the only series I still felt was maintaining the spirit, or whatever you what to call it, of Marvel comics as I had experienced it up to then. So, as usual, I'm not sure how to put a number on this - from one POV it might be a 6 for me, from another perhaps an 8.

I do think the Miller/Janson artwork was less to my taste at this point: great layouts, but sketchy, sometimes almost perfunctory rendition - almost as if they thought the layouts were everything.
