So it's a reprint page for page of Range Romances #3, except for the cover and the ads in the inside covers. I'm still curious to know if there is really 11 issues in that series!

antoine , you can read Range Romances #3 at comicbookplus.com and see if the other stories in RR #3 are the same as in your SS comic, as mlk78 suggested (though as mlk78 also noted, the reprints probably use stories from different issues). linkYou can also check out RR #4, #5, etc. on comicbookplus to get a better sense of when your comic would have been published. We know SS #11 must have been published after RR #5 (cover dated August 1950, so probably on sale a few months earlier than that date), since it's using #5's cover. Seems like quite an interesting comic you have there! Where did you find your RR comic? Online, or in a LCS? I'll check and report back when I get the time. at least 3 of the stories are the same as RR#3, haven't check all of it yet. I bought it from an auction on MaxSold. Kind of like eBay but you have to pick up the stuff you win. I Got two lot of comics for around 50$. That's the one that caught my eyes but there was also a Cowgirl Romances, a couple Four Color, Buccanners, Straight Arrow, a few Lone ranger related comics, some Charlton romance, etc..

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I couldn't find a "Help me identify that comic" thread. I got this comic this week and I can't find it ANYWHERE online. The publisher is Bell Features, which was a Canadian publisher. From what I know they used to do original all-canadian material at first but then switch to reprints with original covers. Has anyone seen this before? I'm mostly looking for a date. I'm pretty sure it's from the early 50s. Maybe someone will recognize the artist? Maybe Six-Shooter was a tv show I've never heard about? There's no date, no name anywhere. No dates on the ads either. I'm guessing they are canadian ads, anyone know in what year a dress cost 3,99$ canadian? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! There was a The Six Shooter radio show (starring Jimmy Stewart), which was adapted into a television show called The Restless Gun (with John Payne in the Jimmy Stewart role), but I don't think this comic book is connected.
ah interesting! I didn't know that. I found some The Restless Gun comics (from the Four Color Dell Series), so maybe it's a reprint from something like that, but I doubt it, as all the Bell features comics I own are from before the four colors "The restless Gun" ones.. The woman in the comic is called Lola. Also interesting is that it's issue #11 from the series. Now I know they used to not put #1 on some issues to help sales back in the day, so maybe it is indeed the first issues of a series...

Like the Bravados cover....is the artwork the same inside? yes it's the same, but there's A LOT of text so all of the panel feel cramped (not sure it's the right word... too full???). There's also a dog that look nothing like a dog. But overall the art is good.

Bought some comics online from a store in Montreal (Comic Hunter). They have a list somewhat up to date on the website (they couldn't find 4 or 5 comics I wanted), but no pictures. I ordered some to see if the prices/condition ratio were ok for me. Some were ok, but some of the cheap one I would have paid 1$ top for them. Overall still a good place to buy. I should also add that they offered to send pictures, but I didn't care enough to make them work. ]

Annual #9 I bought upon publication and one I doubt I reread very often. A few eeeevil businessmen are bored with their life of leisure, spent playing chess, cards and board games. They were all bad asses, way back then, and have grown soft... They want the real thing! The most dangerous game! They want to hunt... the Hulk! That sounds pretty amazing, I have to track down this issue now! EDIT: PLOT TWIST! I realized I have a copy in a pile of comics I was not interested in. Added to the To-Read pile for this week! Haven't been excited as that in years!!!
