I always thought that the Super-Friends series and comic could have taken place on Earth-E.

I was just getting into the boyfriend/girlfriend thing with the future Wife, so my comic buying sagged a little at this point, but...
All-Star Squadron 36 (the two parter Richard Howell was born to draw!) Alpha Flight 13 American Flagg 12 Avengers 246 FF 269 (tail end of the Byrne era) Infinity Inc 5 (YIZZZZZZ!!!) LSH and NTT 1 (the Baxter Era begins! I didn't keep up/w Titans, but loved the Legion!!) X-Men 184 (about a year away from dropping this title, and most of Marvel) West Coast Avengers 1 (a mini, but still loved this story!)

So... as Summer '74 ramps up and i start to get more money mowing lawns, i start to get more comics per week.
Amazing Spider-Man 135 (i had/have this as a two-pocket folder of this cover. I still own my Avengers binder/folder with the cover of Ave 141) Astonishing Tales 25 (DEATHLOK!!!!!!!! LOVED THIS SERIES!!!) Avengers 126 (Englehart, Brown and Cockrum! Great Team!!!) Brave and Bold 114* (Aparo fest with Batman and Aquaman!) Captain America 176 (I was honestly stunned with this story! Great epilogue to the Secret Empire saga) Dr Strange 2 (More Englehart and Brunner!!!) E-Man 4 (had to go to a different drugstore to find this, as the usual stores didn't carry Charlton stuff) FF 149 Giant Sized Avengers 1 (always loved learning backstories of characters and Golden Age stuff too!!) GS FF 2 Kamandi 20* (i was very sad for him at the end of this story) MTU 24 Our Fighting Forces 150* X-Men 89 (reprinting the GOOD X-Men!)
* subscription copies, left over from my DC era!

You are all probably wondering why i have called you all here...
...no?
Oh, then, in any case...
A comic reader from way back, first started taking it seriously about '71 or so with hardcore collecting and reading. Filled a lot of runs in and then sold em off at various times, bouncing back and forth between the big two until settling in at filling in DC runs and starting to do a lot of research on hero chronologies and histories, which found its outlet in the mid/late 90's by starting my own indexing webpage focusing on DC Golden Age heroes. A simple search led me to CBR and a lot of like-minded folks (like the gone-but-not-forgotten Continuity Board) and leading to abandoning my site to work with Tenzil Kim Jensen on his great "Unofficial Guide to the DC Universe" and helping out when i can on other folks projects.
On this earth, i'm a 53 year old father of one (he graduated with honors from Webster University, thank you!), married for 23 years to the beautiful She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed and just celebrated the 32nd anniversary of our first date.
"zilch" , lower case, btw, is a character from a long-forgotten comic i once did and my handle at trivia nights.
I've sold off the majority of the physical copies, but retain scans of a lot of Golden/Silver Age stuff that i use for research.
Glad to be here. Thank you and good night.
