During the trading card boom I loved the comic set most naturally, and have boxes and boxes to deal with someday.
Another quirk I had back then was a desire to buy at least one pack of everything. I've had them in storage most of the time since that boom, but I imagine I have at least a thousand of those 'one packs'. Not sure what my plan was wit them, although at one point I considered trying to get at least one card of every trading card set ever.

My entire life as a collector was one of buying for the enjoyment of the book/card only, and never planning to re-sell....
Except for that year or two around 1990 when the market exploded and I joined in with the mass hysteria. I probably have 3 long boxes of comics and 10 bankers boxes full of card sets that are near worthless.
Sorry, to share my depression, move along.....

It's worse because the Comixology discounts will likely never be as good as the normal Dark Horse bundles and sales. It's worse because now it's just one more place where one could accidentally buy something they already own. I can't think of any reason for someone to buy a Dark Horse product on Comixology. I guess some people will say that they'd rather have everything in one place, but that seems as silly as only buying groceries from one aisle at the grocery store because it's easier. I'd prefer the DH stuff to be in guided view, and it's annoying to check the DH website to see if you already have something (I was already doing that with Dynamite). The Dark Horse app does have guided view. For me, price is always going to be a big factor, so Dark Horse will always win out over Comixology. Another factor is that I imagine Dark Horse's catalog will always be more complete thru their own site. For now at least, they don't even include any single issues at Comixology. Another is that I'd rather Dark Horse and the book creators get more of my money, so I'd probably cut out the Comixology middleman even if there were price or other reasons to buy on Comixology instead.

Meh, unless they sync our accounts this is worse. How is this worse ? I'd like the accounts to be synced, but they're different formats, so I don't think it's going to happen. Dark Horse has lots of great stuff, and I'm glad they'll get more exposure and sales this way on Comixology. I'm used to getting comics from both sites, and I'll still support DH on their site. I did pick up some Dynamite today, but they've been on both sites for a while now. Sad to see Bongo leaving Comixology. I highly doubt I'll get any Simpsons comics later because I don't think of them and won't be going to their dedicated website. It's worse because the Comixology discounts will likely never be as good as the normal Dark Horse bundles and sales. Wow, choosing my top five would be tough. My collection is too vast, and I love too much of it equally to choose. To honestly answer I'd need a month off work to slowly and thoroughly look thru everything and come up with a list. I'll put in a vacation request and see what the boss says.

I certainly wish them luck. Loved First, and got a little Devil's Due (Micronauts). They're eschewing Diamond, but that mostly killed Future (remember them ? Dick Giordano, David Michelenie, Bob Layton). I wish these defunct companies would find a way to at least continue the adventures of their characters publishing through Image, or someone else. I'd like to see the Atlas characters again, for example. Or even better, just put it out directly to Comixolgy and skip physical publishing all together. I think this trend will grow. A lot of the Comixology Submit stuff is really good.

I'm a DC fanboy from about 1972, and I always loved the dark and magicy characters best, then Justice League, so Justice League Dark was pretty much created for me personally.
I think I would buy the book if every page was blank.
