There are definitely sites out there that have that sort of data (Comic Vine, Marvel and DC have wikis, Mikes, etc) but I have no idea about the tech issues you're talking about. I suspect if what you're talking about was readily available chatGPT wouldn't be so bad at comic book facts.

We haven’t heard from Jane Foster for a few issues. That’s because it’s the off-season for GET JANE FOSTER! The last time we saw Nurse Foster, Balder was giving her an Asgardian Mickey Finn so she could sleep and forget everything. So she’s going to wake up and wonder what happened during the last two or three days. Then she’s going to find out that Dr. Blake is missing. After reporting this to the police, she’s going to take a vacation in the Hamptons. And then … spring training starts! She has to get ready for the new season of GET JANE FOSTER! And what better place for spring training for a made-up comic-book game than the X-Men’s Danger Room at the mansion in Westchester? So stay tuned! Prepare yourself for another exciting season of GET JANE FOSTER! beginning in Journey into Mystery #120! I would definitely buy the Jane Foster one shot with that in it

Nice finale! They sure aren't holding back.... so much history in just a few episodes! I wonder... are they going to do all that at once? Or will next next season split and have separate spin offs?
I have very skeptical at first but I was wrong, this was very entertaining... quite the love letter to X-Fans.

One of the many unconfirmed Wolverine and Deadpool rumors out there is that Taylor Swift will be making a cameo as Dazzler.
You'll also note the just announced a New Dazzler series for the fall.

roy Thomas should write a story tying together all the various roy Thomas cameos. I'd buy that in a second

I'd go with the end of reign of the Supermen....when he came back it felt very different, IMO. I could see going to Zero Hour though to sort of finish the 'post crisis era'

crazy to think at the time Darrell Porter was picked over George Brett. Maybe they just wanted a catcher for the visual.

If the rumors are true you better get the Dazzler run done now!

I didn't.. I read the 1st 5 and then I swapped over to the more recent IDW ones. But I definitely didn't feel like anything was missing when I read them

The Railway Detective
Edward Marston
I grabbed this one as part of my going through my old 'to read' books... I read a book from a different Edward Marston series and noticed this one... mystery AND trains? How could it go wrong?
I had trouble getting into it at first (might have been me... I read the first 20-30 pages in bits while i was distracted with other things), but once I got into it, it was definitely a page turner.
I think I would retroactively call this a cozy mystery... everything works out nicely in the end, and the bad guy even gave money to the widow of a witness/lackey he had to kill. Marston uses a technique I don't think I recall seeing before... the detective is shown doing his thing and comes up with a theory, then the story cuts to the bad guys showing that theory correct and giving the crooks some screen time.
It made it so there was no mystery to figure out, but it did flesh out the bad guys nicely. There was also plenty of love for the rail system and even a bunch of technical details, which I will never say no too.
Just one problem... if every book is a series to read, you don't make alot of progress on the list![/b]

The rating for Hogan v Rock is even more ridiculous considering he rates almost every random, forgettable undercard match higher than that these days Meltzer is all about work rate and couldn't care less about how entertaining or important the match is... and he also massively plays favorites, his ratings are even more random and subjective than most. I'm sure if the Danielson - Osprey match was 90 seconds long it still would have got 4 stars at least.

hmmm that's tempting... what reader do they use? Or is it built in? Or just PDF?

I have the Ultimate ones... they follow the main story thread and skip over all the guests and random side adventures. After the main story (which is...5 volumes I think).. the collect the other stuff in 6 and 7
