^Wolvie started out in the yellow-and-blue, but the brown-and-tan re-design by John Byrne is preferred by many for being a more stealthy and less gaudy colour scheme. I didn't know that. That post shows how much old X-Men I have read. Not a lot obviously.

I could site several examples of costume designs I like better in Age of Apocalypse than the 616 universe but not sure if that is playing by the rules. So I will go with my favorite original I wished they'd never changed. And especially by Kevin Nowlan

You can't run a business without an entrepreneur (Lee) or laborers (Kirby/Ditko). At least that's how it looks to me, as a person ignorant of most of the history between them.

Is there an example of an older woman seducing a younger man (super-hero or not) in comics despite her negative and manipulative traits being common knowledge?

I think that commemoration should be just that and not a gimmick thing like Rags said. As an example using AoA again; I think a comic/magazine commemorating the 30 year anniversary with an inside look at who all had the ideas to do the story. The level that different people were involved in it. Who came up with the design ideas for the X-Men costumes and who would be fighting on what side and all that. So that fans of the story, like myself, could see how it all came together rather than AoA variant covers of the X-titles for four months, or something superficial like that.

All I ask Marvel is that if they decide to revisit the Age of Apocalypse for it's 30th anniversary next year they do better than they did at 10 years. And that's not a stab at Bachalo's art either.

I very well get what you are saying about change as human nature. What I can personally share isn't comic related, but related to reluctance to change. The job I have now I have had since 2019. In that time there have been six young ladies that have worked at the corporate office (that I interact with daily by phone or email). The last one quit just before Christmas. The present one started back in September. Every single one of these ladies I got to know and use to working with. Every one I tried what I could to convince them to stay when they said they were leaving. And every new one I was skeptical about that she couldn't possibly fill the role of the previous one. Yet every successor to that job role has quashed my doubts. You'd think after six times I wouldn't hold it against the present lady. I finally got to meet her in person after Christmas and she won me over. She is ever the hard working woman all the previous have been. I think it's far less resistant to change than thinking that by someone how embracing something/someone new we are saying goodbye to something old.
