One thing I've missed about the old site is that it would automatically save your post while you were writing it in case something went wrong.
It turns out that our current software DOES do this, but it is not enabled by default. To activate it, you must:
1. Go to your profile
2. Edit profile
3. Select "settings"
4. Click "yes" for Enable Drafts.
Enjoy!

Excellent, both this and the enhanced features in the quick reply box are great.

Excellent, both this and the enhanced features in the quick reply box are great. I get a lot more done when I have a full staff patrolling the site so that I don't have to

I recently found this functionality myself. It's proved to be really handy two or three times already.
