Happy Holidays everyone. I know I've rarely been on due to timing and all. I also really wanted to drop you all a Merry Christmas and hope everyone is in good spirits.
Anyhow , the basics of this thread is basically I wanna see a video of what some of you picked up in 2014. The best back issues you scored this past year as we count down to 2015. It can be 10,20,50 or 100. To start us all off , here is my video of my 100 Best Back Issues of 2014. Now its only 6 minutes long and I hope you enjoy the intro and song played during it.

Avnegers #8 (1st Kang) and Fantastic Four #12 (1st Watcher) were my only big scores this year, but I'm quite happy with both.

I bought very few. A copy of The Best Comics Of The Decade vol. 2 signed and sketched by Jaime Hernandez, that was cool. The first four issues of Slam Bang by Fan-atic Press, which are impossible to find to the point I could never even hope for a complete run. Finding issues 1-4 was a nice stroke of luck. Besides that, not a whole lot of back issues this year that I can remember. I have spent very little on them this year. I'm thinking under $50 total.

Despite a career setback or two during 2014, old Phil still managed to bring home some comic gold:
Blue Beetle #3 and #4 Amazing Spider-Man #13 (1st Mysterio) Tales of Suspense #40 (2nd Iron Man) Flash #110 (1st Kid Flash) Showcase #60 (1st SA Spectre) Justice League of America #46 (1st SA Sandman) Yellow Claw #4 (completes a six-year quest for the full four-issue run)

Picked up about 450 "classic" comic back issues this year, the best of which are (no particular order):
Conan the Barbarian #'s 17, 18, 20, 23 & 24 (I bought 89 total CtB issues this past year, but these are the only ones pre-#25) Incredible Hulk #'s 124 and 142 (both of which I later got signed by Herb Trimpe) Marvel Premier #'s 3-4 and 6-8 Marvel Two-In-One #1 Supernatural Thrillers #5 Uncanny X-Men Annuals #'s 3 & 4 Werewolf by Night #'s 3 & 4

Couldn't make a guess on my best back issue pick ups, but I would guess some undergrounds. I mostly paid for commission artwork at conventions...
