I see the actor Ralph Macchio is among the media gusts at a comic con-I would find it amusing if people brought up stuff by Ralph Macchio the comic creator to get signed and asked if that was him and then walked away disappointed when he said no...
Kind of a reversal of all the times I've heard anecdotes about people coming the the comic Ralph at shows ans asking him if he played Karate Kid and then walking away disappointed when he said no...
But it's an interesting guest list-Matt Wagner, Gerhard and a few other creators of interest to me, but no way I can get to a show in May-any comic budget I had for the next few months was shot by needing new breaks and other maintenance on my car last week.

Just announced Terry Farrell from Star Trek DS9. Probably the only Trek actor in the universe I would actively choose not to meet, but I'm sure this will be impressive to someone.

Absolutely. We make a vacation of it, though. I actually find it easier rationalizing paying $25 per day admission when it's not in my own city and I'm devoting a full weekend to it along with good friends. Welcome to the community, by the way! |
